What to reorder in Lightspeed Retail
What to order from each vendor to get through the next month.
In Lightspeed
The Reorder list report, under Reports, shows the items below their reorder point (Lightspeed’s guide). Each item’s reorder point and desired level are set on the item, for each store, so the list follows those settings. Lightspeed Analytics adds demand forecasting on an item’s Reorder points page (reorder points).
With Tally
Ask “What do I need to order to get through the next month?” You get what to reorder for each item and store, most sold first: enough to cover the days you name at the recent rate of sale, less what’s on hand and on open purchase orders, with each item’s default vendor.
Then follow up: “Just Northwind,” “Only Hillcrest,” or “Cover six weeks.”
To work from your reorder points instead, ask “What’s down to its reorder point at Hillcrest?” You get the items down to their reorder point at each store, with a suggested order.
Try it
Ask the demo shop on the home page: “What do I need to order to get through the next month?” The shop and its numbers are made up.
Tally works with Claude or ChatGPT, for $59 a month for the first store and $29 for each one after. Set up your shop
