Which stock to move between stores in Lightspeed Retail

Items sitting at one store while another keeps selling them.

In Lightspeed

Transfers are under Inventory, Transfers. A transfer can add every item at or below the receiving store’s reorder point, or a customer’s special order (Lightspeed’s guide). To choose from sales instead, you compare each store’s stock and sales for the item.

With Tally

Ask “Which store has extra of something another store keeps running out of?” You get the items sitting unsold at one store while another has sold them recently and has 0 or 1 left, with a suggested number to move.

By default, unsold means 60 days without a sale at the sending store, and recently means the last 30 days at the other. Change either in your own words: “Use 90 days,” or “Just helmets.”
